  I liked this photo because I had to look at it to figure out what was going on. It also must have been hard to take the picture from this angle, so the water droplet would end up right above the person's head. After studying the picture, I noticed there was some sand in the bottle and the sunset made the bottle appear lighter and the person running appeared as a sillouette. The photo looks like it was probably taken on the beach. The photographer probably wanted to take a picture no one's ever taken before and wanted to capture something that made people stop and think.

I liked this picture because this wasn't just an ordinary picture of crayons. The crayons are getting snapped in half but I'm still wondering what caused them to do that. The photographer wanted to show people something happening really fast, except frozen. I wonder how the photographer knew how to take the picture exactly at that moment.

This is a picture of something colorful splashing into the water, though I don't know what it is. It seems like the object dropped straight down, because the splash seems circular. The photographer must have taken this picture because most things make a clear splash in the water but this is colorful. It makes me want to know what the colorful thing is.

This photo grabbed my attention because it is a picture of a house, only, it's upside down. I am wondering how that house hasn't fallen over and how it balances on that point at the top of the roof. The photographer wanted to capture something people wouldn't think of as a "normal photo."

I liked this photo because there weren't a lot of colors and the red jacket grabbed my attention. I didn't realize the person was standing in water, I had to look at it closer. There is a body of water and a person is standing in the middle of it. I wonder how the photographer took this without messing up their equipment. I also wonder how the person in the photo is standing up. The water looks strong, so I wonder why they haven't been pulled away. Also, is the person standing in the middle of a lake or is it a flood? I think the photographer took this picture to tell a story and make people think about what's going on.

In the picture I see a pattern of a starfish on the streets of Tokyo and the city around it. I think the photographer wanted to capture something that stood out. I like this picture because the only way to get an image like this is if you are standing on a mountain, airplane, or high place. The picture is of clouds from a high view.
